Job description 

We are looking for a highly motivated lab assistant to join our talented scientific team working on viral vaccine programs. This position offers a great opportunity to learn and help our Scientists and Research Associates successfully and efficiently perform their experiments. Main activities and responsibilities

• Operation of dishwasher to clean laboratory equipment

• Autoclaving of reagents, waste materials, and equipment

• Maintaining laboratory space stocked, cleaned, and organized

• Preparing laboratory reagents

• Checking CAS chemicals and maintaining records

• Unpacking deliveries

• Assisting with paperwork and filling

Education

• Life Sciences major with no prior experience required

Skills required

• Be able to follow Standard Operating Procedures

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

• Good time management skills

• Must be a team player with strong communication skills, well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask
